  I'm not going to write a huge review of this album.  Also, know that I was a huge Volbeat fan for a long time. With that said, this album is fucking terrible.  I thought this was going to happen to see as the last album was on the softer side but still had redeeming qualities.  This new album is a product of shit.  It is not heavy and when the thrash guitar starts it is on a higher chord and it is akin to 80s hair metal more than modern metal. This album is one pop/rock piece of shit after another.  His vocals are clean and whiny and frankly previewing the album hurt. I know the game has been out and I haven't posted shit for a while.  Well Doom is exceptional and deems a short but sweet review.  Enjoy. Finally Doom hits next Gens and PC.  On my Birthday no less!  Doom at its core is a simple adventure were you find door keys and discover the secrets behind this research base on Mars.  Oh and along the way you wreck everything!  There isn't a single moment where I was blood thirsty through out the roughly ten hour campaign. You start on a medical table about to be prodded by demons.  Well we cant have that.  With a Undertaker like sit up and a quick face smash you have a pistol and you're on your way to dispatch hundreds of angry demons.  (are there happy demons?)  This pretty much sums up the beginning.  Which in all honestly is the only part of the game I was left unfulfilled with.  No real back story or cut scene or animated or any sort of intro!  Just wake up and murder...

So Far Cry 3 was one of my favorite games of last year.  The open world, the beautiful landscape, the brutal combat, it was just a really well done game.  Well with Far Cry 4 you get all of that same amazing stuff but with more beauty and more ways to attack objectives.  Unfortunately it sometimes feels like you are treading familiar ground.  This normally wouldn't be an issue considering the game is amazing.  The issue is that this holiday season there was a ton of games launched at the same time and frankly my mind wanders more to my collection.  Ive spent pretty decent amounts of sitting time with FC4 and almost every time I eventually just want to stop and play something else. Alright, I'm going to be honest here and make this review nice and short.  I want you to imagine as if you and I are having a discussion rather than you simply reading a review.  The discussion in your mind should go a little something like this. Me:  Hey you played GTA V on x360 right? You:  Of course I did, it was a great experience.   I sit here, a little buzzed listening to my friend constantly restart the beginning of this game.  He is going after an achievement he remembers from the Xbox 360 play through.  This disgusts me.  Not because its frustrating to watch the same five minutes over and over.  Not because I find it to be OCD and perhaps, obsessive?  No, none of those actually.  I'm most disgusted at the fact that he is holding himself back from exploring the metro in full detail.  This version is even better than the PC version. For starters.  It works.... The PC version of Metro 2033 while great looking and of course fun to play,  ran like shit.  Even on high end machines it ran poorly.  The new PS4 version rectifies any issue I've ever had with the Metro series.  For starters, the overhaul.  While it isn't true "Next Gen" it looks fucking great.  Obviously the best looking version of the game you can pick up....

DLC is one of biggest and best things going on within the gaming industry....Financially speaking at least.  I myself am very mixed on it.  On one hand I remember and long for the days of, when you bought a game you were buying a complete package.  On the other hand DLC gives developers more time to focus on their creative efforts.  If a DLC comes out that is a true expansion to the game, as in more content that further enriches my game play.  I'll buy it.  What I don't buy into are the things like the season passes.  I have issues with these because the season pass to me is nothing more than a cash cow.  Its grown especially ridiculous with the call of duty games.  Why am I paying an extra 60 dollars for 16 new maps?  Some guns, maybe some cool extinction levels...yeah all right sweet!  Thank you for making me pay more for shit that should have been in the game in the first place! OK, so the reason I'm not calling this a review is because frankly I haven't beaten it.  I will say that im in love.  I love it so much that when I am done writing this I'm gonna go play it, even though I have Metro Redux sitting there begging me to pick it up.  It wants my attention, but even now....I only think of dungeons and blood.  Believe me you get plenty of both.  If you have never played D3 on the PC or have lived in an undiscovered tribe for the past twenty years, D3 is a top down dungeon crawl.  On the PC it was a bit of a chore to play.  I had grown so used to using a game pad, I had forgotten how uncomfortable keyboard and mouse gaming is.  This package fixes my woes. Oh boy, how do I start this one?  Well before many of you even read the article I will no doubt be called several forms of "Noob"  These insults will no doubt be hurled by young assholes who dont know anything about "PC Gaming"  Just because you play call of duty with a keyboard and mouse doesn't mean your anything more than I am.  To those of you the previous few sentences describe, please feel free to go fuck yourself.  This article isn't for you...   Powerman 5000 is one of those bands that really isn't that great.  Which don't get me wrong, I'm still a fan.  The problem is they really only have two listenable albums.  First is of course, "Tonight the Stars Revolt" which is their best. (if you'd like to see a review of that album let me know) Lastly their new album is their second best.  Here's the thing though.  I don't love this album, but I find myself throwing it on all the time.  Its a refreshing twist for them.  You get kind of the best of both worlds that is Powerman 5000.  You get this electronic robot sound, and you also get the crunchy guitars and the almost pop punky rhythms.   The album is much softer (less metalish) than "Tonight the Stars Revolt".  This however isn't a big deal.  So lets begin.   I own just the PS4, which honestly doesn't effect my opinion.  I have access to an X-One, I just don't use it.  My opinion is the PS4 is the better FOR MY NEEDS.  That's the difference in which console you buy, what do you need.  I mean its known that as of now, the PS4 is the more powerful.  So power is no question to the Ps4.  Libraries are about tied, actually...Day one X One titles were better.  I mean Ps4 had Knack  and Kill zone.  The X One however had Forza, Ryse , and Dead Rising 3.  So Library goes to X-One. (However current game library is titling the Ps4 way.) Well, here we are folks.  This movie released on blu ray, thus setting off a chain of events my amazon "recommended items" wouldn't see coming for miles.  Yes the lady friend protested that it was and I quote "It's not really that bad"  So we watched it.  Here is what I think about it. Recently I was commanded by my significant other to watch this movie with her, I said ne!  She then made an offer I can’t refuse.  She would watch die hard if I watched this.  I obliged.  My thoughts at first were that it was a standard Halloween Disney movie I had seen before.
