Bad Grandpa Review. “You need a servin of Irvin”

To start off I must profess my love for the jackass movies or really stunt/ prank shows in general, it’s simple dirty hilarious fun.  With that said bad grandpa is no exception.  This time however they decide to throw a little story line into the mix.   In all honesty the story is basic and doesn’t really need to exist.  It’s a story of a kid being left with his newly single grandfather Irvin.  Yes I said newly single as in that is why there is no grandma in the movie.  She’s dead!  Before you ask the answer is yes there is a funeral scene, and yes it’s hilarious.  His daughter is going to jail and she wants to dump little Billy on Irvin.  He agrees to take Billy to his loser father across the country. 

This starts the road trip with Billy and Irvin, what fun they will have.  As you would imagine with this road trip comes certain hilarity.  One stunt has a horny Irvin getting his dick stuck in a vending machine.  While another stunt has Irvin entering a local strip club on ladies night.  (One of my favorite parts of the movie)  Even when the boys are enjoying a meal at a local diner do things become outlandish (in a good way) some of the scenes I enjoy the most are when it’s just Billy and Irvin in the car joking and having fun.  It seems to me that these scenes are Knoxville and the kid having fun and being loose for real on camera. It is a different side of the raunchy comedy, dare I say heartwarming?  What’s that?  He just took a shit on the wall of the diner?  Oh that’s the jackass crew I know. 

In short Bad grandpa is a great comedy for people who enjoy the jackass formula; there really isn’t much else you could say about it.  Go see it, laugh your ass off and remember, when you fuck a vending machine make sure your penis doesn't go all the way down the change slot.
